The genius Thomas Sowell hits the nail on the head more than normal…

There has long been an element of the Republican Party that has felt a need to distance themselves from people who stand up for conservative principles, whether those with principles have been Ronald Reagan, Rush Limbaugh or whomever…

Which is why I really have little use for them anymore.  Apparently however in Missouri going another route gets you labeled a domestic terrorist…see here.

Yet many in the Republican Party seem to have felt as embarrassed by Governor Palin as they have been by others who articulated principles, instead of trying to be in step with the fashions of the time– fashions set by liberals….

Can he get more correct?

We must act quickly!!

The Associated Press

STOCKHOLM — A canny chimpanzee who calmly collected a stash of rocks and then hurled them at zoo visitors in fits of rage has confirmed that apes can plan ahead just like humans, a Swedish study said Monday.

We must move quickly to enact laws that ban the possession of firearms by chimpanzees.  Once the other chimps read about the treachery of this Swedish chimp, they will all start buying firearms that originated in the U.S. and found there way to Mexico…  We will either have a pandemic of raging Mexican chimps armed to the teeth with assault rifles and machine guns or the chimps will form their own drug and banana cartel based in Sweden.

Someone call Carolyn McCarthy!  Alert Rahm the worm, alert Chuckie Schumer!

Have no fear

it only happens in those neighborhoods…

A woman, her teen-age son and his friend were stopped by car thieves Sunday in south Fort Worth, and the friend was hit with beer bottle, police said.  The incident happened at about 7:40 p.m. in the 4000 block of May Street, said Lt. Paul Henderson, police spokesman.  The 33-year-old woman and the two boys, both 16, were in a car northbound on May Street when a car with no lights on “pulled in front of her causing her to stop,” Henderson said.  Another car pulled behind her, which blocked her in, Henderson said. Two young men got out of separate cars and approached the passenger side of the woman’s car.  The woman and her son, who was in the the backseat, got out and ran from the scene, Henderson said.  But the son’s friend, Henderson said, “was confronted by the two suspects who asked, ‘You bang? Who you represent?’”   The victim responded that he wasn’t in a gang, but one of the men pulled him from the car, struck him in the back of the head with a bottle and then punched him twice in the face, causing him to “fall to the ground,” Henderson said.  He was not seriously hurt, however, Henderson said.  The two men drove away in the woman’s car, which was recovered at about 10 p.m. in the 3700 block of Bryan Street, Henderson said. That location was about a half mile northeast of where the car was taken on May Street.  They were described as Hispanic men in their early 20s, Henderson said. One was bald about 5-feet-9-inches tall, 230 pounds; the other was 5-feet-11 and 150 pounds.  Both men had “multiple tattoos on their arms,” Henderson said.  Anyone with information about the crime can call robbery detectives at 817-392-4370.

I’ve been known to bang on occasion and I represent Smith and Wesson.

Confession

I confess:

For the last 4 weeks or so, I have been DVR’ing Boston Legal, new episodes and reruns…I also confess to have watched them after wife and kid go to bed.  I confess I am watching liberal garbage, but I find one particular aspect of the show compelling, thus I watch.  It is ok, because I discovered this aspect by accident, therefore lessening my culpability.  So I have been watching to enjoy one particular aspect.  I confess that each time I watch it I know I am going to be offended and I accept that and generally find it not worth mentioning.

However last night’s (Monday) first run episode is worthy of comment.  Basic premise of the episode is one of the lawyers who basically is a loon, though portrayed as a lovable loon, throws a muffin at somebody then knocks the guy out and it is liberating due to his being bullied as a child…I digress.

The important part concerned a 15 year old Chinese immigrant girl who had been in this country 3 years and sought the representation of the #1 raging leftist attorney (there are many) to obtain a “judicial bypass” to allow her to slaughter her unborn child without the consent of her parent.  The episode proceeds from there.  Through the episode I learned that slaughtering the child is not only necessary, it’s patriotic.  You can wrap yourself in the flag while killing the child.  I had no idea, essentially the personal liberty offered by the United States that this child finds so compelling is the ability to kill her child.  Apparently it is lost on said child that she could have obtained said slaughter much easier in a more enlightened Euro-kingdom for example.

I further learned that while slaughtering the unborn is the sine qua non of liberty, the essence of womanhood, and generally to be encouraged, it is however not all of those things when you are slaughtering the unborn to avoid having female children.  The issue of infanticide in China (mind you it is only infanticide in China or India-in the U.S. it is choice and other cute terms that avoid reality) is then covered and basic facts about Chinese slaughter is laid out for the viewer.  When you boil down this element of the plot line you learn that slaughtering the unborn is good and all-American, unless you are slaughtering females only to slaughter females.  Then the slaughter is bad.

Executing one of my client’s is the worlds great injustice, executing the unborn generally-a sign of an enlightened society, executing baby girls because they are girls well that is just evil but not evil enough to make the leftist examine the entire slaughter culture.

Other random things I learned, when a leftist character, expresses qualms about the idea killing baby girls and dare say killing infants in general, that character is treated with kid gloves, thoughtful and considered.  The only thing that passes as a conservative character continues to be a buffoon.  I should say conservative character other than characters who pass in and out of particular episodes, like cops, D.A.’s, conservative judges, particularly conservative U.S. SCT judges who aren’t likable buffoons, but the pinnacle of evil.  They are also generally rendered impotent, speechless and exposed as the evil-doers they are by the raging leftist attorney’s who we all like.
Noble leftist attorney
Likable, but reactionary, buffoonish conservative lawyer, who may have mental defects to boot
